A Digital Sanctuary for Healing
This site is dedicated to the Virgen de Regla/Our Lady of the Rule, in homage to her many miracles. While she is venerated in many forms across the world (primarily in Cuba, the Philippines, and Spain), she is not as well-known as other Marian devotions.
The Virgen de Regla is one of the Black Madonnas; a version of the Mother Mary with dark skin. While many of the Marian devotions are typically Eurocentric in their appearance, the Virgen de Regla is usually depicted with Brown or Black skin.
Feel free to explore this site to learn more about Our Lady of the Rule, her origins, her prayers, and her many miracles.
A brief story…
My name is Joy and I was visited by the Virgen de Regla back in 2021.
I was going through the hardest time of my life. I, thankfully, survived the Covid-19 pandemic but unfortunately lost many loved ones between 2020-2021. I developed an anxiety disorder (who didn’t in those days?) and spent some time homebound due to daily panic attacks. I was struggling and my hope was rapidly waning.
One night I had a dream visitation from the Virgen de Regla. It was a lucid dream and I heard her soothing voice tell me she would help me but first I had to choose a path to work with her as…either as Yemaya (Orisha) or her Catholic counterpart, the Virgen de Regla. I was not initiated into working with the Orishas at the time so I chose the Catholic way, being that I was already baptized in the church.
She spoke to me many times after that moment, with guidance on how to soothe my condition, and eventually reverse it. Yes I still had to put in work, as we all do to accomplish a goal, but she led me every step of the way. She showed up for me in so many miraculous ways that I can’t even begin to describe, but my hope is to try to share her story in homage for what she has done for me.
The Virgen de Regla saved my life. I will continue to spread the message of her miracles, and of the other Saints and powerful Spirits that also aided me out of the darkness.
